What makes Best Lesson Ever! different?
We build private lessons around music your child enjoys, with teachers who get to know them. Membership includes Practice Challenge, recording tools in the lesson rooms, and 12 performance opportunities each year.
Do you teach beginners and adults?
Yes. We teach kids and adults, from first-time musicians to experienced players. Your teacher will help you build skills through music you enjoy.
How old does my kid have to be to take lessons?
We start as young as 4, as long as your child can spend 30 minutes in a private lesson with a friendly instructor. Every kid is different, so we encourage a free trial to see how it feels. We recommend guitar from around age 8; ukulele can be a good fit for ages 5–6.
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons are in person at 3222 FM 528, Friendswood, TX 77546. We have free onsite parking. Get directions and studio hours.
How does the free trial work?
Meet a teacher, make some music, and see how lessons feel. Request a trial and our team will confirm your teacher and time, or choose an available time online.
Do you have instruments for us to try out?
Yes! We provide instruments for every free trial. If you sign up for recurring guitar lessons, we suggest buying a guitar to practice at home. Here’s a starter guitar we recommend for kids and teens.
Is my free trial timeslot going to be my permanent timeslot?
Not automatically. Your ongoing weekly lesson time is confirmed when you enroll, based on availability and your schedule. We’ll help you find a regular time that works.
What if I’m not sure which instrument to choose?
